Check through detailed set-up and operating instructions in Owner's Manual. Work through checklist at end of Owner's Manual and also check manual or cartridge brochure to make sure you are expecting VideoBrain to do only what it is programmed to do. Machine Warm Up Your new VideoBrain computer, like its larger counterparts, is built around complex and sophisticated large scale integrated circuits which require normal operating temperature for proper performance. It is possible that during the first few minutes after the VideoBrain has been turned on, and is still warming up, you will notice that the picture on your TV set jiggles somewhat. This is perfectly normal and will cease as soon as the machine has reached its operating temperature (2-5 minutes). Machine Power Up Under certain circumstances, when the VideoBrain is initially turned on, you may see either a blank TV display or a display that makes no sense. This is not a malfunction, but simply the result of some random initial condition in the memory banks of the machine. To correct, merely turn the power off and then on again and Key Master Control. Repeat once or twice if necessary. VideoBrain. (C)1977 VideoBrain Computer Co. 150 South Wolfe Road Sunnyvale, CA 94086
